Center Strategy


Introduction
The university requirements coordination office derives its vision and mission from the university’s vision and mission, to reach the academic and leadership excellence. This is achieved by introducing effective and contemporary learning and teaching methods, which adopt blended learning; embedding technology within the teaching process, problem solving based learning, and projects based learning, in attempt to generate graduates possessing the scientific methodology, enabling them to compete at the labor market.
Vision
Effective learning center based on the deep understanding, analyzing, critical thinking, and responsible communication skills. Expanding students’ perceptions to understand other nations’ civilizations, their thoughts and beliefs, while keeping students proud of their own civilization and culture.
Mission
The office takes on the responsibility of supervising, managing and coordinating the teaching of the university requirements courses for all university students. The courses are delivered based on blended learning strategies, problem solving based learning, and projects based learning. Activating the use of the electronic learning platforms to prepare/ educate promising leading students.
Objectives
1. Performing any of the office’s courses related tasks: teaching, examinations, drop-out, addition, deprivation, incomplete examinations…. Etc. 2. Supervising the development of the courses’ learning outcomes, supervising the preparation/ selection of the scientific content of the textbooks, references, and the study plans. Evaluating the effectiveness of the courses and the teaching methods periodically, through directive committee for each course. 3. Generalizing the use and application of modern learning methods and embedding technology within the teaching process: blended learning, flipped learning, projects based learning, and problems solving based learning. 4. Through teaching the courses, the office aims to enhance students’ understanding of their nation’s civilization. Increasing their ability of effective learning, and making them able to use the deep understanding skills, analytical and critical thinking, and communication skills with their surrounding environment. Enriching their knowledge in civilization, humanitarian knowledge, social, scientific and technical fields.
